NEVER in a million years did I think someone like me would receive any recognition for writing about my experiences in the Police. I received an MBE from the Queen for writing FORCED OUT and today shortlisted for the first book Polari Prize with 'the best' LGBT+ writers about! 🌈

Having this took me back 30 years 🪖🥚
I was meant to be @hexhambookfestival in May 20 but the pandemic put a stop to that, so honoured to be invited back to the North East this weekend! 📚
