My voice & song choice on the Gaydio!

If you haven’t had enough already of my voice this year (4thought.tv), you may remember(?) a few weeks ago that I wrote about those nice people at Gaydio Radio wanting me to go on their ‘Desert Island Discs’ (Radio 4) type show… ‘The Mix Tape’.

Well, I did and with one thing and another (I write this a lot) I forgot all about it.

Lucky for you(?), my recorded session was meant to be on last Sunday – however, Gaydio clearly had a ‘much’ more important guest to air before me so I was re-scheduled 😮

Anyway, this Sunday 19 February 7-9am (if you’re up) the lovely Mike Robinson interviews me for ‘The Mix Tape’ during ‘The Sunday Forum’, and plays the four songs I chose which have ‘played’ (get it?) a part in my life.

I talk about my relationship with Alex, the love of My Mum and other ‘bits and bobs’. That said, I can’t remember what I said the other day, never mind a couple of weeks ago – so, if I do offend I apologise now!

I’m told I’m in good company on the forum, with many interesting and important people of relevance to the LGBT community interviewed for ‘The Mix Tape’ including a few Knights.

Although Gaydio is broadcast from Manchester on 88.4FM, you don’t have to be in the North to listen to my interview and song choices, as you can hear it online at www.gaydio.co.uk and via the UK Radioplayer.

I’m deliberately ‘withholding’ my four song choices, so if I sound boring at least they might be interesting?

This has been a… on the radio, ‘View from the Bottom’.

Take care, Max x.
