Dear All, thank you for those who have left and sent me kind messages about my Fight for Justice.
My challenges are simply about raising awareness of racial, sexual orientation and disability discrimination within the Metropolitan Police, which still exists today in 2014.
My two week trial against the London Police Commissioner commences tomorrow, but the hearing of oral evidence is likely to be highly delayed, as the Met has refused to handover written evidence.
No doubt after arguments from both sides, the Judge will make his or her decision on this.
That said, it’s time for me to now concentrate on trying to fight these forms of discrimination and hatred within Scotland Yard, which, actually undermine British Policing and its core values.
No one should be treated differently because of who and what they are, and equally, no one is above the law regardless of their position. We should all be held accountable for the things we do and say, and that includes the MPS Commissioner.
Other than this, thank you for your support. I’ve always said, my challenges are much bigger than me.
Keep On, Keeping On and take care,
Max x.
