I went on a date todayπŸŽ–
Took a trip with my sister and she only kept hold of the M&S can as I took this pic πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ
As I work on my second book, it's always an honour to be invited to writing events like Aye Write Festival in Glasgow next month @ayewriteglasgow. I've often thought about living in Scotland! And I just learnt my first book is to be turned into a stage play, to inform and educate 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Today is my birthday and as every year I spend time reflecting and being thankful for reaching another year of life, the one my beloved mother Annie gave me 21 years ago! I’m also off cakes now and desperate to light the candle but don’t want the fire service attending πŸ₯³
I just got home after buying an egg mayo crusty cob in the local bakery to find a large parcel waiting for me and this was enclosed amongst other things, the kind of scroll I’m used to seeing in old movies! I’ve been invited to Windsor too. Mum would have liked to meet the Queen
Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mums. There’s not a day I do not think about my beloved, late mother Annie.
