I went on a date today๐ŸŽ–
Took a trip with my sister and she only kept hold of the M&S can as I took this pic ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ
As I work on my second book, it's always an honour to be invited to writing events like Aye Write Festival in Glasgow next month @ayewriteglasgow. I've often thought about living in Scotland! And I just learnt my first book is to be turned into a stage play, to inform and educate ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ
Today is my birthday and as every year I spend time reflecting and being thankful for reaching another year of life, the one my beloved mother Annie gave me 21 years ago! Iโ€™m also off cakes now and desperate to light the candle but donโ€™t want the fire service attending ๐Ÿฅณ
I just got home after buying an egg mayo crusty cob in the local bakery to find a large parcel waiting for me and this was enclosed amongst other things, the kind of scroll Iโ€™m used to seeing in old movies! Iโ€™ve been invited to Windsor too. Mum would have liked to meet the Queen
Happy Motherโ€™s Day to all the amazing mums. Thereโ€™s not a day I do not think about my beloved, late mother Annie.
