To this day, I remain humbled that people around the world continue to buy, read and send me messages of support about my first book, Forced Out. Today, during the UK's Black History Month, a book club finished reading it. Still a man trying to make his late beloved mum proud! 👵🏻

As I began rebuilding my life, a dear friend lifted me being my cheerleader. He set up my first book deal. Suddenly, Jonathan Cooper OBE - international human rights barrister - has left this world but his legacy and those he has helped remains forever. Thinking of Kevin/family x
20 years after leaving, I was invited back to my secondary school to give the graduating speech to the young men and women. This week, I've been invited back to my alma mater @regentsunilondon to give the Class of 2021 speech. I find these invites an honour and a humbling experience 🎓
