Today, may have been a celebration of six decades since Her Majesty was crowned. But, we shouldn’t forget another favourite that has served Britain well since 1953.

Created by Constance Spry and Rosemary Hume, it was prepared as the food for the banquet of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.
So, today marks a joint celebration of a Monarch and an equally lasting Chicken.
