I came across a blog earlier, which caught my attention. It’s a post about me, with regards to the Metropolitan Police Service’s latest tactic.
One of the paragraphs resonated with me, (well, the whole thing did) as it stood out.
The blogger writes, about My Fight for Justice:
Did he reveal state secrets while telling of how he became a victim? Did he give away personal details/secrets of others while doing his usual once daily job? Did he put anyone at risk? No, he just wrote about how he was picked upon and for that he got the sack. Did they offer him support and advice as how to cope with the discrimination? It appears not, instead they just sacked him!
I’ve always said that, the Met’s treatment of me in part has been to put-off other victims of discrimination within the force i.e. if you step out of line this is what will happen to you too, which the blogger quite rightly states:
… other victims who are being discriminated are much less likely to speak up now – and their bullies will also know this, giving the discriminators more drive to continue and/or increase their cruel activities.
And finally, the blogger asks the same question what I have asked myself and others:
“Who really now has discredited the police service and undermined public confidence in it?”
I don’t know who the blogger is and his/her intentions generally, but on this subject they’ve hit the nail on the head.
You can read the full blog here.
This has been a… never underestimate the stupidity of idiots, ‘View from the Bottom’.
Take care, Max x.
