The Sun may think it’s funny invading others privacy, but it is not. The tabloid is not above the law, no one is.
My Fight for Justice campaign is exactly for this reason, challenging The Sun newspaper at the High Court for invading my privacy as a gay man with depression.
Rupert Murdoch’s newspaper not only threatened to ‘out me’ publicly as a gay man with depression because I challenged discrimination within the Metropolitan Police, but then forced me to come out as a gay man with depression in a humiliating and degrading way.
Not to forget, an illegal ‘large file’ it holds about me leaked to it by Scotland Yard.
And, for what?
My sexuality and mental illness, were not in the public interest.
It was my right who I told I was gay, and suffered with depression – not the editor Dominic Mohan’s or reporter Anthony France’s.
I’m yet to see what perfect lives the editorial team at The Sun live?
Something, we all aspire to!

This has been a…in Britain The Sun doesn’t come out everyday, ‘View from the Bottom’.
Take care, Max x.
