Today, I formally submitted my evidence to the Home Affairs Select Committee Inquiry into ‘Leadership and Standards in the Police’.

I hope my experiences help to make things better for the service, with a View from the Bottom – unlike those at the top of the constabulary, who will have politicians believe all is okay. It is not.

There are REAL problems.

I’m of the belief that, the Metropolitan Police and others should get their own house in order before trying to enforce others. If the Met is discriminatory and the like on the inside, it undoubtedly will be on the outside – to those, it’s meant to serve.

I gave my evidence today, 9 years to the day my siblings and I buried our mum.

It was not so long ago that, the MPS tried to bury me.

This has been a… doing my bit, ‘View from the Bottom’.
