ALWAYS in My Heart… My Mum

It’s hard to believe that, 8-years have passed today since the death of My Mum… Annie Maxwell.

I don’t write this post with the intention of being sad, but to celebrate the wonderful life of a beautiful person… a true lady, who lives on within me and her family. She was the greatest, matriarch.

It’s funny how life continues, even though some of those we love are no longer with us. Yes, I have lived My Life the past 8-years but there has never been a day were I have not once thought about My Mum. Maybe, we never get over the loss of a loved one.

I always told My Mum that I would never forget her, and would do my bit to make sure her family didn’t either – not that they would, or have. With the explosion of social networking, I am now able to share the love I have for My Mum with the world.

I was speaking with a woman in her 50s the other week, and she was telling me how her mum was coming to see her in London. Whilst talking to her, I wasn’t sad that My Mum died in my twenties but happy that she was still able to do wonderful things with ‘her mum‘.

So, as I often write… if your parents are around, please do let them know every now and then how much you love and care for them.

I have been fortunate that, My Mum loved me so much and gave me everything she could that I never went without. We might not have had lots of money when I was growing-up, but she left me pretty rich with love – that, which you can’t put a price on.

This has been a… gone, but NEVER EVER forgotten, ‘View from the Bottom’.

Take care, Max x.
