Love Your Mum…

Today, is yet another ‘Mother’s Day‘ for us to remember the person who gave birth to us.

I write often that, there is not a day that doesn’t go by where I don’t think about My Mum and the love she had for me and the love I still have for her. I am what I am, because of her.

I still think I was too young to lose My Mum at the age of 26, but am thankful that I was old enough to appreciate all that she did for me. I know others, are not so fortunate.

So, for those of you whose mum’s are only a phone call or car ride away make sure you let them know today and always that ‘you love them’. Mum’s really are, the best in the world 😮

For those like me whose mum’s are no longer here, remember this today…

Although she is gone

You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her or you can be full of the love that you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her and only that she is gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Happy Mother’s Day xx
